Privacy Policy

The site never requires an account and asks for no personal information unless you choose to sign in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your email address, and, when the provider shares one, a profile picture URL; section 4 describes how this works. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with anyone. Beyond that, the site has no newsletters or comment sections, and the only other personal data we hold is what you send through the signed-in problem-report form (described in section 4) or choose to put in an email to us, described in section 12.

Every calculation on this site runs entirely on your own device, in your browser. The numbers you enter (loan amounts, incomes, rents, rates, and so on) are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party, are never stored by us, and disappear when you leave the page unless your own browser retains them.

When you are signed in, the site also saves your latest inputs for each calculator in your browser's local storage, so a calculator you come back to starts from your last values. These saved inputs never leave your device, are not readable by us, and are deleted when you sign out.

The site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember a few small preferences on your device only:

• your selected currency for displaying results,
• the language you last chose, which is used only to remember your choice and never to redirect you automatically,
• your analytics consent choice, if you have been asked for one,
• whether you dismissed the sign-in hint shown on calculator pages,
• your sign-in session, if you are signed in, and
• your latest calculator inputs, if you are signed in.

Apart from the sign-in session, which the sign-in library uses to keep you signed in with Supabase, this information never leaves your device and is not readable by us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website, or by using the "Analytics preferences" control in the footer.

Signing in is optional and is provided by Supabase, using your existing Google account. The sign-in step happens on Google's own pages, and the site never sees your password. Supabase stores your name, your email address, and your profile picture URL on our behalf. We add nothing to that record, send no email, and share it with no one.

Signing out deletes the saved calculator inputs from your device. To have the account record itself deleted, email info@themoneyhorizon.com as described in section 10.

While signed in, you can report a problem with a calculator. A report stores the text you write, the calculator it concerns, a category, the time, and your account id, in a database hosted by Supabase on our behalf. Reports are used only to investigate and fix problems, are never published or shared, and are deleted on request by emailing info@themoneyhorizon.com from the address you signed in with.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement tool. It records aggregate, anonymized page-view statistics (such as which calculators are visited and from which country) without cookies, without persistent identifiers, and without tracking you across other websites. Individual visitors are not identified.

The site contains optional support for Google Analytics, but it is currently disabled. If it is ever enabled in the future, it will only load after you explicitly opt in through a consent banner, you will be able to decline or withdraw consent at any time, and this policy will be updated to describe it.

The site is a static website hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's infrastructure briefly processes technical connection data (such as your IP address and browser type) for the sole purpose of delivering pages to you and protecting the service from abuse. We do not access, combine, or use this data to identify visitors. See Vercel's privacy policy for details on their processing.

If you sign in, the account data described in section 4 is processed and stored by Supabase (Supabase Inc.) on our behalf. See Supabase's privacy policy for details on their processing.

The site itself does not set cookies. The preferences described above use local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent with requests. If you choose to sign in, Google sets its own cookies on its own domains during the sign-in step, under its own policies.

The site contains links to third-party websites, such as the donation page on Buy Me a Coffee. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and encourage you to review. This policy applies only to The Money Horizon.

The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Accounts are optional and use Google sign-in, which applies its own minimum age requirements.

Privacy laws in many jurisdictions grant rights such as access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing of personal data. For everything outside sign-in there is typically nothing for us to access or delete; the data described in section 3 is under your direct control on your own device. For the account data (your name, email address, and picture URL) or a problem report you sent, email info@themoneyhorizon.com from the address you signed in with to request a copy or deletion, and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

If the site's data practices ever change (for example, if a new analytics tool or a contact form is added), this policy will be updated before or at the time the change takes effect, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

That address is a forwarding alias with no mailbox of its own: Cloudflare Email Routing passes the message to a Gmail account held by the site operator, so both providers process it on our behalf. Your address and what you write are used only to read and answer you. They are never added to a mailing list, never used for marketing, and never sold or shared, and messages are kept only as long as the matter needs.
